Sahara Chapter 1
1. The weather in these areas are dry, hot, and windy. Average Summer temp. 90°F, highest temp. recorded 136°F.
2. Tuaregs travel across the desert with limited supply, if they lived along the Nile there would be unlimited water supply.

3. They mine salt to survive and make money.
4. Their crops wouldn't survive without irrigation.
5. No water runs off onto their crops because it is so hot and dry.
6. Rain is only there for a little while and then the vegetation goes brown.


Savanna Chapter 2
1. It is different because it is a grassland instead of a desert.
2. Many trees and plants for herbivores and many different species of animals for predators to hunt.
3. Countries are joining national parks so they can create more jobs and attracts tourists.
4. They don't help because fences are knocked down, so now they take down the fences themselves. Also not everyone agrees with national parks. They help by creating jobs and attracting tourists which helps the economy.

Rain Forest Chapter 3
1. Plant growth would be very rapid because of rainy warm climate, you would see trees, animals, and insects. Your skin would feel sticky because of humidity. You would hear the sound of animals.
2.The chimpanzees are becoming endangered because their habitat is getting destroyed.
4. The Baka people are helping themselves by staying in there homes and helping the rain forest by convincing the government to let them have control of acces to a large part of the rain forest.
5. It's a water supply and fish supply.
